The site is not updated frequently, but still active

As you see, the site has not been updated for a long time. However, please don't worry about this issue. All of the programs on the site are still available and you can download them with confidence and even ask for technical support.

The programs are already at maturity stage and they should not require any important updates or bugfixes, but if you have any suggestions, you are welcome to share them with me.

Thanks for all of you in your continuing interest in Useful Programs. I'll keep you up to date as much as possible.

Minor Updates

At last I found some time and had the chance to make some minor updates to the site like removing the dead message board links.

The site will be kept active as much as possible, so don't forget to check for updates.

Sorry for this long delay

It's been almost a year now and Useful Programs are not updated, although promised. I'm sorry for this very long delay, but I'm way too busy than the times when this site was first created. However, I'll try my best to keep it alive and I'm planning to get some staff members soon. Check the site out frequently, if you want to be the one to keep it alive. (Don't worry, I won't make you wait for a year this time.)

Note: Board is currently offline and due to the lack of interest, it'll be totally removed from the site.

Useful Programs is alive!

My linking problems are solved at last and now the site will be active again.

There is a new alternate address. Now, you can access the site using the address http://www.84plus.tk
TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition will be released soon and all the programs on this site are totally compatible with 84 Plus series.

The first version of Organic Chemistry XP will be released in a month and the next version of the Biorhythm Calculator will be released in a week. Visit the site frequently not to miss the releases. (Note: These programs may appear on the board a couple of days earlier than their site release.)

Please post in the message board even if you think that nobody will reply. The board needs some activity, but there is nothing to chat. People are registering and going away. That's why there is that 5 post requirement for uploading. I will remove all limitations on uploading and beta testing as soon as the board gets more activity.

Keep your eye on Useful Programs for more new programs.

About enabling the uploads and pre-release testing of the projects

After a long delay, uploads are enabled again with a new upload page integrated into the message board. Visit the Upload Useful Programs page to upload your programs.

Recently, I've been getting many e-mails asking if there are a pre-release versions of programs on the projects page. With the new message board, I decided to set up a pre-release testing system. If you are a member of the message board, you can apply for to get access to the test versions download area. Visit the projects page for more information.

New Message Board Available!

Useful Programs gets its own message board! On this message board, you can discuss anything, even stuff not related with TI calculators. Of course, it's the best place to tell your opinions on the site or on the programs. Also, you can get support for the programs in the archive.

Go there now and be one of the first people to register. You can even be a moderator if you stay active on the board.

The board's address is http://www.tiboard.tk or alternatively http://ticalc.s1.cybton.com.

Shopping guide section added

You can now get information on buying TI calculators, accessories and even some books related with TI calculators and get to see the latest prices (source: Amazon.com and TI online store) from the Shopping Guide page.

Keep Useful Programs alive by shopping from Amazon.com using the links and search boxes on the Shopping Guide page and on the other pages. (You can purchase anything, not just calculator stuff.)
You don't need to pay anything extra, consider Useful Programs as a passageway to Amazon.com.

New layout implemented

Useful Programs changed completely. The whole site has a new layout, which is much better than the old one. With the implementation of the new layout, the important part of the redesign is complete. However, you will still see some minor changes in colors and fonts.

Useful Programs is back with a new design

It's been a while since the last update and now, Useful Programs is undergoing a complete update. The main page is redesigned and soon you will see changes on the other pages of the site as well.

The previous board of Useful Programs, http://www.ti-programmers.com is not working and I'm planning to install a new board for the site. Wait and see.

Upload form is still disabled. I have problems with calc linking and until those are resolved, adding new programs to the site doesn't seem probable.

Anyway, welcome back to Useful Programs!

Browser compatibility: Whole site works fine with Internet Explorer 5, 6 and Netscape 7. The main page works fine with Opera 6, but Opera 7 moves the links at the bottom of the page. For the rest of the site, Opera 7 works fine, but Opera 6 wraps the left navigation bar. Besides these glitches, the site is "surfable" by Opera.

Updates are suspended, but the site is still alive

As summer comes, TI community "hibernates" and both programmers and users don't really want to do anything about their calcuators. Becuase I don't have time to work with my calculator and with the site frequent enough in summer, I won't be updating the site for a long time. You may expect rare updates, though. The file upload form is also disabled.
Don't forget that this site is still alive and it will be always be here.

Have a nice summer.

New uploaded programs added
There are two newly uploaded programs on Uploaded section. Check them out.
